Equality Centre aim is to provide the best methods of teaching the Icelandic language for immigrants. As the language is the first key for integration into new society.
We are always trying to develop our methods of teaching the language for adult immigrants in all the ways we can, because Iceland does not have long experience with the immigrant issues, we always look to develop our methods by participating in projects with the rest of Europe who have longer history and experience in this field.
All our projects we take part in is about teaching the language and integration in the host countries
This issue is now important in Europe, and Iceland is taking part in this action, to make the integration process more effective.
